Luxcon Unveils Beachfront Tower with Unique Diamond Truss Design on Garfield Terrace Surfers Paradise Development
Recently, Ilya Melnikoff, the managing director of Luxcon, announced plans for a new premium beachfront apartment tower on the Gold Coast. Luxcon acquired the site at 63-65 Garfield Terrace in Surfers Paradise about four months ago and negotiated with 12 unit owners to amalgamate the 1011sq m site for the development.

Escape, the beachfront tower, will rise to 30 storeys with a unique diamond truss design, differentiating it from the curved glass facades prevalent on the Gold Coast. The tower will offer 28 whole-floor apartments, with two dual-floor penthouses featuring double-height ceilings. The three podium floors of communal amenities, including a 20m infinity pool and a beach club, are designed to make Escape the most exclusive building on one of the best sites on the Gold Coast.

The PBD Architects-designed tower, which emphasises the taper of the tower with the use of different textures and colours, will stand out from the neighboring mid-rise towers. It will be launched to the market at the end of September, with the developer confident that there is still an appetite and depth of market for high-end owner-occupiers looking to move to the coast from NSW, Victoria, and Brisbane.

Most Developers have cold feet in todays market
Luxcon remains confident in the Gold Coast’s luxury property market despite other developers pulling out of projects due to rising construction costs. According to Melnikoff, launching the project now would help mitigate risks, as high-end prices are more likely to withstand inflation impacts. In addition, Luxcon’s decision to build the project themselves further demonstrates their confidence in the development.
Escape is Melnikoff’s first project on the Gold Coast, following significant mixed-use developments in Sydney. Melnikoff also noted that PBD Architects had successfully interpreted their vision for four other projects, making them the ideal choice for the design of the unique diamond truss tower at Garfield Terrace Surfers Paradise Development.

In Conclusion
Luxcon’s Escape tower, located in the Garfield Terrace Surfers Paradise Development, is expected to become one of the most exclusive buildings on the Gold Coast due to its unique design and premium amenities. Despite rising construction costs leading other developers to withdraw from projects, Luxcon’s confidence in the luxury property market remains unshaken. The company’s decision to build the project themselves further underscores their belief in its success.
Overall, with the help of 3D Renders, developers can bring their visions to life and showcase their projects in the best possible light. In the case of Luxcon, it has allowed them to present the Escape tower as a premium development that is set to become a landmark on the Gold Coast.
