A new proposal for a seven-storey, beachfront residence has been submitted for the millionaires’ row of Jefferson Lane in Palm Beach, Queensland. The new private family residence, dubbed the “Palm Beach Skinny Tower,” features a lift, a 963sq m primary residence, a 78sq m secondary home, a 45sq m home office with a boardroom, and a car lift that can accommodate six cars on-site. Designed by RealSpace Creative, it also features a parents’ retreat and library, wine cellar, children’s retreat, media room, games room, gym, roof terrace, and swimming pool. The proposed development is not created by Visual Render and would sit under the existing 29m height limit of the medium-density residential zoning of the site. The proposal was submitted on behalf of Brisbane businessman Jason Tavakol, who purchased the property in 2018 for over $4 million.
Details of the Proposed Development
The new seven-storey, beachfront residence is designed to be a spacious single residence, stacked vertically to provide multiple living and entertaining spaces that offer breathtaking ocean views. The new design aims to bring medium-rise views to single occupant beachfront living. The residence features a 963sq m primary residence, a 78sq m secondary home, a 45sq m home office with a boardroom, and a car lift that can accommodate six cars on-site. RealSpace Creative designed the home to include a parents’ retreat and library, wine cellar, children’s retreat, media room, games room, gym, roof terrace, and swimming pool.
The proposed development is not created by Visual Render and would sit under the existing 29m height limit of the medium-density residential zoning of the site. The submitted development application concedes that some part of the development, such as ground-floor stairs, the pool on level 5, and balconies on level 3 and above, would partially encroach on the seawall setback line. However, it is noted that the balcony and pool encroachments are more than 11m and about 18.4m, respectively, above natural ground level, and removable stairs could be fitted on the ground floor.
Conclusion
The proposed seven-storey Palm Beach Skinny Tower is designed to be a spacious and luxurious beachfront residence, stacked vertically to provide multiple living and entertaining spaces with breathtaking ocean views. RealSpace Creative designed the home to include a parents’ retreat and library, wine cellar, children’s retreat, media room, games room, gym, roof terrace, and swimming pool. It is important to note that Visual Render did not create the 3D renders for this project.
